2012 Resolutions? Wishes? Attempts…Hopes


  • Eat less Chicken Licken: I need to get the “wings-monkey” off my back. I’ve stopped eating KFC, it’s just those demon wings and that hot sauce that still need to be exorcised.
  • Eat more veggies and drink more water *it’s the 3rd of January and I’m full of hope*.
  • Up my make-up game: I’ve got bags full of the stuff and I don’t even use it. It is time Simba *using my best Mufasa voice*!
  • Get my glam on:
  • Go to the salon BEFORE the braids start falling off on their own, or before the mini- forest appears on my pixie crop, carry a brush in my bag and go to the ladies to give my hair a quick brush and stop looking like the fright I usually do after 3pm *sigh*.  I know Miss T, I know.
  • Wear my heels: I’ve been neglecting them; I must give my pumps a break every now and then *work it baby, work it*.
  • Romance: I’ve been single for eons and I’m getting bored…I rex I should kiss at least one boy man (we all know God has a hellava sense of humour) this year, or two, or three ;-) Naughty gal.
  • Put myself first a bit more: learn to say NO!
  • Hug more. Call more. Love more. *I can feel my chest start to constrict* Ok, at least my friends and family.
  • Tame my butt: jog, go to the gym and just get active!
  • Get my travel on. Last year was full of big plans and even bigger excuses. Get dressed for first class, coach sucks.
  • Get my career in order.
  • Make more cash dollar $$$. Amen.
  • Trust that God will lead me through the mist.
  • Good health: for both myself and my family.
  • Blog more, write more and let go a bit more.
